| Garden Walk The Downers Grove Public Library Foundation’s Garden Walk is growing, and your name will make it bloom! Purchase and personalize a brick as part of the expansion of the Garden Walk along the west side of the library. Commemorate a special occasion, honor a loved one, or just leave your mark the library. With a $100 donation, you’ll get a 4-by-8 inch brick inscribed with your name, favorite saying, or message. A $250 donation entitles you to personalize an 8-by-8 inch brick. Two benches are also available for sponsorship. Your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. |

Rotary Donates $1,000 to Foundation
Following another successful Oktoberfest event, the Rotary Club of Downers Grove recently made a $1,000 donation to the Foundation. The Foundation thanks the Rotary for their continued support of library programs and services in the Downers Grove community.

CD to Benefit Foundation; Makes Great Gift
The Downers Grove Public Library is offering a rare opportunity to obtain the two CD set, Piano Four Hands: Music of Friends by Miriam Gerber and Elizabeth “Goldie” Cochrane Zechel. The CD is available for a minimum $50 donation to the Downers Grove Public Library Foundation. There is a limited number of this CD available which includes performances of Mendelssohn, Mozart, Debussy, and Schubert. The CD is available for this offer through the generosity of Miriam Gerber. To make your gift to the foundation, and receive this special CD, please contact the library’s Administration Office at (630) 960-1200. Your donation to the foundation is tax-deductible minus the fair market value of $16 for the CD.
