Mini Golf in the Library on March 21 Stop by anytime from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tournament play begins at 4:15 p.m. for teens and kids. Tickets are $5 and $3 for ages 12 and younger. There is still time to sponsor a hole. Find out how your business or organization can join in on the fun. |

Thanks to Garden Walk Donors
Donors, honorees, and patrons joined library staff and trustees during a lovely summer afternoon event to thank those who have donated bricks and benches to the Downers Grove Public Library Foundation's Garden Walk.
Brick donations will be used by the Downers Grove Public Library Foundation to purchase artwork and other enhancements for the library. The Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, and your contribution is tax deductible.
You can still donate a brick and see it installed before the end of the year. For more information, pick up a brochure or call the Administration Office at (630) 960-1200.
Following another successful Oktoberfest event, the Rotary Club of Downers Grove recently made a $1,000 donation to the Foundation. The Foundation thanks the Rotary for their continued support of library programs and services in the Downers Grove community.
CD to Benefit Foundation; Makes Great Gift
The Downers Grove Public Library is offering a rare opportunity to obtain the two CD set, Piano Four Hands: Music of Friends by Miriam Gerber and Elizabeth “Goldie” Cochrane Zechel. The CD is available for a minimum $50 donation to the Downers Grove Public Library Foundation. There is a limited number of this CD available which includes performances of Mendelssohn, Mozart, Debussy, and Schubert. The CD is available for this offer through the generosity of Miriam Gerber. To make your gift to the foundation, and receive this special CD, please contact the library’s Administration Office at (630) 960-1200. Your donation to the foundation is tax-deductible minus the fair market value of $16 for the CD.
